The Victorian Government has announced the whole state of Victoria will go into lockdown effective from 11.59pm tonight until 11.59pm on Thursday 3 June 2021 to try and curb the growing numbers of the most recent COVID-19 cluster.
Face masks will also need to be worn inside and outdoors – everywhere except your own home.
Essential shops like supermarkets, food stores, bottle shops, banks, petrol stations and pharmacies will remain open. However, cafes and restaurants will only be able to offer takeaway and delivery services.
